Mermus R's sire is the well respected Burggraaf, who in turn is by the legendry Landgraf, out of Loanda H, by the ever impressive line of Cor de la Bryere.

Burggraaf won 6 out of the 7 qualifying rounds for the National Stallion Competition and competed Internationally under Roelof Bril. He was a winner at Brabant in the Puissance when he cleared 2.10m.

Also reserve champion in 1.40m at the KWPN Stallion Show. Landgraf has produced more than 50 approved stallions and 70 plus state premium mares in Germany alone.

The dam of Mermus R has some fantastic credit behind her with bloodlines from the great Ramiro Z and Joost. Ramiro Z has been extremely influential in today's breeding, especially through his daughters. Joost was the sire of Osta Carpets Carrera who won the Grand Prix at Aachen in 1993.

Another young stallion by Mermus R is Sam R who recently became the first horse to ever score the perfect 10 in a stallion grading in Holland.

The dam side of Nellie goes back to Rigoletto who sired Alwin Schockemohle's International horse, Santa Monica.
