2004 Successes

“Fred” just keeps on being the best... he’s had another busy season on the stud side of his business, with some of his offspring selling well. This meant a fairly quiet jumping season until July.

Although still doing the AI he did have time to get out and about, a good win at Kent County set him up for a double clear in the Welsh Royston 7 years qualifier, a fortnight later he was back at his favourite Wales & West showground to win the Toggi Grand Prix in true Fred style.

At Scope he was 3rd in the 7’s qualifier and was downright unlucky to have 4 faults in the championship. But he had come 3rd in the grand prix at Gadlas Farm on our way to Scope!

Then he went to Towerlands International show, where he jumped the HOYS wild card classes, run on points over 3 days he finished =3rd to gain qualification for the week at HOYS by being the highest place =horse in the thousand pound class.

At HOYS he was 5th in the 7 years final on the Wednesday evening, then he had a 3rd and a 5th in the International classes.

At the BSJA Towerlands Stallion show he had 2 x 3rd’s in the 1.30 and 1.40 opens. Then it’s a holiday and some Dressage with Caretino!!
